Rebecca Aviva Hume,

Oh, logos, thou art so lovely and so temperate.
Why I work at Big Duck:
Big Duck gives me the opportunity to exercise my creative and intellectual curiosity; to learn about really worthwhile organizations and then use my talents to help them accomplish even more.
What I think is just ducky:
kickball, bookbinding, roadside diners, congressional representation, the Sunday crossword, palindromes
What really ruffles my feathers:
sharks, indifference, people who say “nu-cu-lar”
Life before Big Duck:
Born in sunny California, I spent my childhood in Ann Arbor, Michigan, earned my BA at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, then worked for several years at a museum in Washington, DC...maybe I should just draw you a map. I’m pretty good at that, having just completed my Master’s in Communication Planning and Information Design at Carnegie Mellon University. Now, happily settled in New York, I’m looking forward to using all I’ve learned to help make the world a little better.
