Scott Moe,
designer
“Twenty-four/seven, that’s what we’re here for!”
Why I work at Big Duck:
Designing for the good guys
What I think is just ducky:
Bikes, ancient hip hop, This Old House, the Red Sox, NY1 theme song
What really ruffles my feathers:
Anyone doing anything but biking in the bike lane
Life before Big Duck:
I grew up on the salty shores of Massachusetts with no higher goal than perfecting my sarcasm and complaining about the weather. In 1986, my older brother’s pen and ink rendering of Michael Jackson’s face inspired me to take my life in a more creative direction. I studied advertising at Boston University and worked at various ad and design firms before defecting to New York a few years ago. I’m now firmly planted in Brooklyn working with great people and clients who, as we might say in Mass, “care a wicked lot.”
