Having a social conscience, Sarah Durham saw no reason that marketing and branding “best practices” should be used only to benefit Big Pharma, Big Tobacco, Big Oil, and other Big Industry. So in 1994, to benefit Big Nonprofit (and Little), Sarah founded Big Duck.
Why a Big Duck? (Really, friends, why not?)
The duck species has a long history supporting worthy causes. For example, ducks often help smaller ducks cross the road, allow themselves to be the namesake of plays by Henrik Ibsen, and offer sympathetic support (or tough love) to anyone attempting to quit smoking.
Yes, it’s fair to say that ducks are the most passionate of the waterfowl.
Sarah Durham founded Big Duck in 1994 to emulate duckitude.
