Why I work at Big Duck:
People who care, doing good work at a good business for good organizations
What I think is just ducky:
Yoga, meditation, serving others
What really ruffles my feathers:
Egoism, people who don’t care about their surroundings, poking the food on my plate
Life Before Big Duck:
I grew up in Israel, served in the army, and worked professionally there for three years. At age 24, I began my spiritual journey, which brought me to the United States to study with my spiritual master. I live in a spiritual community in the East Village. There, we focus on meditation, yoga, and serving the community, which includes a food rescue program that distributes to food pantries and soup kitchens in all five boroughs. I’m happy to be working at Big Duck and helping to support nonprofit organizations that have important missions.
