I liked dan Zarrella's words, some of which I already knew, like Please RT will definitely get higher clickthrough rates than the word "marketing" which is what a lot of people are doing on twitter, to the consternation of people who just want to have conversations and relationships on Twitter.

Katya's post was useful as a reminder to write more succinctly for the web. But i do think that we all need e-newsletters if we have any interest at all in getting donations for our nonprofits.

Peace,

Mazarine

PS. We've got some new webinars at CharityHowTo all about social media for nonprofits, love if if you'd take a look! http://charityhowto.com/upcoming.php
