Speaking as somebody who came to communications from a previous career as a coder, I highly recommend that last one. Knowing a bit about what's possible will help you with your website strategy -- and may prevent you from annoying folks on the IT team with "wouldn't it be great if..." comments.

Thanks for weighing in Brett—I couldn't agree more. I took a one-week high-level HTML class once, and it made such a difference to have a little bit of context.

Noble Desktop (www.nobledesktop.com) in lower Manhattan is also a great resource for those who just want to dip toes in the coding waters—I recommend checking out their free seminars.
