Making waves with a new website

The Project
Working closely with the Foundation’s team, Big Duck created a strategy, structure, and design that would help make the website shine. The updated site now offers plenty of compelling storytelling, with a prominent sideshow on the homepage and photographs of Coast Guard personnel and their families woven throughout. Since driving donations was a primary goal, we added a donate button to each page, and created areas for fresh content like blog posts and events. We asked users for feedback to help us simplify and reorganize the content, making sure that members can find the information they need in a snap.
The Results
The Coast Guard Foundation’s website is much easier to update and maintain, and visitors are thrilled by how simple it is to use. Timely content right on the homepage gives donors and other key visitors another reason to visit—and keeps them coming back.
