The Project
The research brought credence to stories the Foundation for Jewish Camp had been using anecdotally, but using data instead of camp stories with donors and prospective parents would get boring quickly. Big Duck took this data and created a visual-driven brochure—called “Camp Counts”—about the connection between summer camp and the future of the Jewish people. Using information visualizations (or “infographics”), the brochure turned the data into a compelling story.
The Results
“The Camp Counts brochure has been one of the most useful tools in talking about our impact on Jewish continuity. Turning the raw data into something digestible was no small feat, and we’ve been handing it out to even more people—especially donors—than we anticipated.”
