Despite over 40 years of results benefiting military families, the National Military Family Association was struggling to maintain its image as a leader in what was quickly becoming a crowded field.
The voice of military families gets stronger
Visual identity

The Project
Through our brandraising process, Big Duck helped the Association express its voice more effectively with a new visual identity, messaging platform, website, and more. Defining the Association’s positioning and personality made it clear that the visual identity and messaging platforms of this more than 40-year-old organization needed to be updated. Creating a style guide and training their team on the new brand made it easy for staff to create and manage subsequent communications. Afterwards, working closely with their team,we created a new website, built an event-specific microsite, and launched the Association’s first integrated fundraising campaign.
The Results
“Big Duck streamlined how we communicate and helped us get our staff and board on the same page. Our staff has found it easier to create new materials, maintain our media (social and traditional), and keep our key audiences engaged.”
