Just a Small Human designing at Big Duck

Why I work at Big Duck:

Design = awesome. Design for nonprofits = 2x awesome.

What I think is just ducky:

Chocolate anything, warm summer nights, reconnecting with old friends, and Crayola crayons

What really ruffles my feathers:

LIRR delays, when my milk-to-cereal proportion isn't right, texting while talking to someone

More about me:

I was born and raised on Long Island (somehow don't have an accent). Growing up, I spent all my time after school painting, sculpting and drawing at the Huntington School of Fine Arts. This is where I learned that I wanted to pursue a career in creativity, and so ended up in Carnegie Mellon University, where I majored in Communication Design and minored in Business Administration. After graduating, I spent a couple months abroad interning with Landor Associates in Mumbai. I then migrated back to good old Long Island and stumbled across Big Duck, where I got an opportunity to design for social good. I guess you could say that I am just a lucky duck.

Ask me about:

Designing while colorblind, the difference between RGB and CMYK, Pittsburgh, baking NY Giants-themed cakes
