Why I work at Big Duck:
I get to work with smart, talented, creative people—and a really cute dog. What’s not to love?
What I think is just ducky:
Doctor Who marathons, Grand Central Terminal, the cat at the Algonquin, appetizers.
What really ruffles my feathers:
People who bring young children to R-rated movies.
Life before Big Duck:
I was born and raised in Topeka, KS, but do not know Dorothy or Fred Phelps. After a quasi-successful career as an actress (Law & Order: SVU, commercials you fast-forwarded through), I began writing about life as a new parent in NYC. Since then, my work has been featured in The Huffington Post, Time Out New York Kids, and Self, among others. My parents are very proud. My son is less so.
Ask me about:
Celebrity gossip, the importance of storytelling, saving money on anything. (Anything.)
